Business Today spoke with various participants who showcased projects addressing significant social issues. One standout was Gauri Sharma, an undergraduate from Mathura, who created an application aimed at facilitating healthcare access for economically disadvantaged individuals. Her solution simplified the process of finding local medical services, thereby easing the path to essential healthcare. Another impressive submission came from Yuvraj Tripathi, an MBA student who designed an app catering to elderly users. This application includes features for tracking medications, engaging in cognitive exercises through games and quizzes, setting reminders for hydration, and facilitating emergency contacts. Yuvraj's motivation stemmed from personal experience, as he fears for his aging parents' well-being when he eventually relocates to another city. By condensing the stages of ideation, coding, and deployment into a tight 75-minute timeframe, the Tata Bharat YuvAi Hackathon illustrated how AI-enhanced development is democratizing technology creation. It underscored the notion that with the appropriate tools and determination, impactful innovations can be born even from those venturing into coding for the first time.
