This collaboration rewards users financially for reducing their data usage. Starting Tuesday, 500 Light Phone III devices will be available for immediate delivery through Noble Mobile. To get one of these phones, users must commit to a two-year plan with Noble Mobile, priced at $50 per month, totaling $1,200 over the contract period. This marks the first instance where customers can purchase the Light Phone III without paying the full retail price of $699 upfront. Previously, customers might have faced delays until as late as September if opting out of the Noble Mobile plan. Joe Hollier, co-founder of Light, expressed excitement about this launch, noting that it lowers entry barriers for potential users. This cashback can be redeemed as cash or used similarly to credit card points. Hollier stated, "The Light Phone is designed to be used as little as possible, aligning perfectly with Noble's mission."
