Elon Musk confirms Grok AI can now generate talking videos

Elon Musk has announced an exciting upgrade to Grok AI, which now includes the ability to generate talking videos alongside images. In a recent tweet, Musk stated, "Grok videos can now talk. Major upgrade to image & video generation in a few weeks. This is still early beta." The announcement came with a demonstration from DogeDesigner on X, showcasing an animated character named Anne who introduces herself with the phrase, "Welcome to Grok. Imagine, my name is Anne." This development marks a significant step forward for Grok AI, expanding its functions from mere static images to more interactive and engaging video content. Musk labeled the current version as an "early beta," indicating that further enhancements are likely to follow. As Grok AI continues to gain traction for its innovative predictive capabilities, this latest update enhances its potential as a versatile tool for content creators. In addition to the video feature, Musk has emphasized Grok's predictive abilities, encouraging users to explore the AI chatbot's forecasting skills. He shared a link to a live benchmark platform, urging followers to test Grok's prediction capabilities. In his posts, he noted, "Download the @Grok app and try Grok Expert mode. For serious predictions, Grok Heavy is the best," adding that "the ability to predict the future is the best measure of intelligence." The provided link directs users to FutureX, a platform designed to assess how effectively large language models (LLMs) can predict real-world events across various domains, including politics, economics, and sports.
