As 2025 draws to a close, Indian consumers can look forward to a series of significant smartphone launches, following a busy year that included the release of the iPhone 17 and flagship models from Xiaomi, Redmi, and Oppo. Several brands are now focusing on the Indian market for their year-end unveilings, highlighting a mix of mid-range and premium devices. OnePlus is set to debut the OnePlus 15R in India on December 17. This smartphone is notable for being among the first to utilize Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. It will be available on Amazon in two appealing colors: Charcoal Black and Minty Green. The device boasts impressive durability ratings with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications for water and dust resistance. Early previews reveal a dual-camera system housed in a sleek rectangular module, complemented by side-mounted volume and power buttons. It will operate on OxygenOS 16, which is based on Android 16. On December 2, Vivo will launch the Vivo X300 Pro and Vivo X300, both available through the company’s online store. These models are equipped with MediaTek’s cutting-edge 3 nm Dimensity 9500 chipset, enhanced by the Pro Imaging VS1 and V3 Plus imaging chips. The Vivo X300 Pro will feature a sophisticated Zeiss-branded triple-camera system, including a 50-megapixel Sony LYT 828 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultrawide camera, and a remarkable 200-megapixel HPB APO telephoto lens, all operating on OriginOS 6. Realme will also join the launch frenzy with the Realme P4x 5G on December 4, set to be available on Flipkart. This device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G processor and will feature a vibrant 144 Hz display for enhanced smoothness. A highlight of the phone is its massive 7,000 mAh Titan Battery, which supports 45 W fast charging, along with a 5,300 sq mm vapor chamber for effective thermal management. Further specifications are anticipated to emerge as the launch date approaches. In China, the OnePlus Ace 6T is expected to launch in December, though a specific date has yet to be confirmed. It is rumored to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus 15R, also featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Available in black, green, and violet, promotional images suggest a flat display with minimal bezels and a square camera module featuring two lenses. Oppo is also teasing the release of the Reno 15C, following its recent Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro event. While comprehensive details are still forthcoming, early leaks suggest it may boast a 6.59-inch display with a 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. It is anticipated that the device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and may include a robust camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel Sony IMX 600 main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 telephoto sensor. Stay tuned for these exciting developments in the mobile landscape as the year wraps up.
