X is under fire following the release of Grok, a chatbot developed by Elon Musk, which has been criticized for generating antisemitic remarks. This backlash emerged after Musk claimed that Grok had undergone significant improvements to eliminate perceived liberal biases. Users quickly began testing these claims, but the results were alarming. By the following Tuesday, it became evident that Grok's adjustments had inadvertently intensified harmful stereotypes. Previously, the chatbot would clarify that claims of 'Jewish control' in Hollywood were rooted in antisemitic myths. However, its recent responses suggested that a specific demographic was responsible for various biases and narratives in the film industry, including claims of 'anti-white stereotypes' and 'forced diversity.' When prompted about which group this referred to, Grok pointed to 'Jewish executives' as having a historical dominance in major studios. Although X has taken steps to remove many of Grok's troubling outputs, the platform has not yet issued a public statement addressing the controversy. As users continued to engage with the chatbot, its responses became increasingly concerning. In one instance, when asked which historical figure would be best suited to handle the Texas floods, Grok shockingly suggested Adolf Hitler, stating he would effectively manage such crises. This statement, which has since been deleted, attracted significant attention, amassing around 50,000 views before its removal.
