The CMF Watch 3 Pro, priced at Rs 7,999, marks the third iteration of Nothing’s sub-brand CMF smartwatch lineup. Although it launched in India nearly a year after its global debut in July 2025, this smartwatch comes packed with features that could attract potential buyers. In terms of enhancements, the CMF Watch 3 Pro boasts a larger and brighter display than its predecessor, alongside dual-band GPS support, recording transcription, and improved health tracking capabilities. After testing the smartwatch for over two weeks, we explore whether this delayed launch impacts its relevance in a competitive market. The CMF Watch 3 Pro features a circular dial design crafted from aluminum alloy, complete with a crown on the right side. The back houses sensors made of soft-touch plastic for comfort during wear. However, unlike its predecessor, it does not have interchangeable bezels. The watch comes with a silicone strap, which enhances comfort, though its 47mm size may appear bulky on smaller wrists, potentially deterring some users. More size options would have been a beneficial addition. Overall, the design is rugged yet classy, appealing particularly to fitness enthusiasts, and it comes with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. The smartwatch sports a 1.43-inch AMOLED display featuring a 60Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 670 nits. This expansive display simplifies reading notifications and fitness stats at a glance. It supports an Always-on feature with eight dialer options, ensuring a visually appealing synchronization with the operating system. The display performs well in outdoor conditions, with adjustable brightness levels accessible directly from the wrist. Health and fitness tracking is a significant focus for the CMF Watch 3 Pro, offering continuous heart rate monitoring, SpO2 tracking, sleep analysis with nap detection, and over 131 sports modes. Additional software features include dual-band GPS, voice assistant support, and the ability to control music and receive weather updates. Notably, it includes the Nothing X app for seamless smartphone connectivity; however, users with iPhones may not access certain features like ChatGPT support, which is exclusive to Nothing OS. In terms of performance, the CMF Watch 3 Pro excels in accuracy and user interaction while maintaining a robust battery life. Users will find dedicated pages for health metrics and other features, with the heart rate monitor generally showing accurate results compared to an oximeter. While step tracking is reliable, the GPS can occasionally misjudge locations. Sleep tracking showed some inconsistencies, missing minor wake-up periods. Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the automatic workout detection feature, although this may not cover all sports modes. The smartwatch is powered by a 350mAh battery, offering up to 13 days of life, 17 hours with GPS, and up to 60 days in power-saving mode. Testing revealed that moderate use resulted in around 10 days of battery life on a single charge, with a full recharge requiring approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. In conclusion, the CMF Watch 3 Pro presents a strong case in the smartwatch market with its unique design, vibrant AMOLED display, and reliable health tracking features. While there are minor issues with GPS accuracy and sleep monitoring, these do not significantly detract from its overall appeal. The lack of interchangeable bezels and additional size options could limit its attractiveness for some users. However, for those seeking a stylish and functional smartwatch under Rs 8,000, the CMF Watch 3 Pro is certainly a contender.
