Claude Cowork expands to mobile and web

Claude Cowork, the innovative general knowledge agent developed by Anthropic, is now accessible on mobile and web platforms, expanding its reach beyond the desktop. Initially launched in January as a desktop application, this new update allows Max subscribers to manage tasks seamlessly across devices. Users can initiate a task on their computer, receive updates on their smartphone, and retrieve the completed work later, even when their laptop is powered down. This expansion signifies Anthropic's ambition to position Claude Cowork not just as a coding assistant but as an intelligent administrative partner. The tool is designed to operate in the background, assisting users with their tasks and seeking human input only when necessary. Conversely, software development accounted for just 8.7% of usage.
