Anthropic Claude can now access Notion, Canva, Stripe, Figma and desktop apps

Anthropic, the AI company behind Claude, has rolled out a significant upgrade to its assistant, introducing a suite of integrated tools aimed at improving user productivity and optimizing workflows. This latest update allows Claude to connect seamlessly with a variety of third-party applications, including Notion, Canva, Stripe, and Figma, effectively elevating the AI assistant to a more interactive and context-aware collaborator. In a recent blog post, Anthropic described this enhancement as a pivotal step towards creating a more intelligent, task-oriented AI experience. "Now Claude can access the same tools, data, and context that you do," the company emphasized, marking a transformation from a basic assistant to a comprehensive digital coworker. Previously, users often found themselves needing to reintroduce ongoing projects, timelines, and preferred software to AI tools repeatedly. Thanks to the new connectors, Claude can now directly tap into user-approved services and data, significantly reducing friction and allowing for faster, more pertinent responses. For example, users can instruct Claude to generate release notes for their latest sprint directly from Linear, and the assistant will automatically pull ticket information to create a polished document. Moreover, turning a creative brief into a branded Canva post or converting a Figma design into functional code can now be done without the hassle of switching between platforms. Anthropic also highlighted several practical applications for these integrations: while the tool directory is available to all Claude users on both web and desktop, certain features, especially those linked to remote apps, are exclusive to subscribers of paid plans. Users will need the Claude Desktop app installed to access desktop extensions for locally installed applications. To explore the complete list of supported tools, users can visit claude.ai/directory.
