‘Utopian’ city California Forever announces huge tech manufacturing park

In an exciting development for the tech industry, California Forever has revealed plans for a groundbreaking manufacturing park named Solano Foundry. This expansive project, which spans 2,100 acres, is set to become a cornerstone of the visionary 'utopian' city envisioned by a coalition of Silicon Valley billionaires. Solano Foundry is designed to accommodate a staggering 40 million square feet dedicated to advanced tech manufacturing. This initiative is part of a broader plan that aims to create a walkable community featuring over 175,000 homes. At the recent Reindustrialize conference held in Detroit, CEO Jan Sramek emphasized the need for a strategic location, stating that U.S. manufacturers should move away from isolated factory sites that are difficult to staff. He asserted, "The best people don’t want to work there." The Solano Foundry site promises to facilitate a streamlined permitting process, enhance transportation for finished products, and harness ample renewable energy resources. This innovative approach aims to attract top talent in hardware, engineering, and AI industries from the nearby Silicon Valley region, located approximately 40 miles southwest of Solano County.
