After 5G launch, BSNL teases ‘Flash Sale’ to attract new customers

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is creating excitement among its users with hints of a forthcoming flash sale in India. A mysterious teaser on social media has sparked curiosity, though the state-run telecom operator has yet to disclose the specific date for this much-anticipated event. The promotional material suggests that the sale could feature enticing offers such as free data promotions, discounted broadband plans, and various other incentives. In a captivating video posted on X, BSNL teased, "Something big is about to land! Are you ready to experience the unexpected?" The company encouraged its followers to speculate on the types of deals that may be unveiled during the sale. This announcement comes after a challenging period for BSNL, as recent data from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) reveals that the company faced a net loss of 0.2 million subscribers in April. More notably, BSNL's active user count dropped by 1.8 million during the same timeframe, highlighting the hurdles the company encounters in both retaining and attracting new customers in a competitive market. To reclaim its market position, BSNL has been implementing various strategies. Earlier this month, the company proudly announced the launch of its 5G network in India, branded as 'Q-5G.' This new service aims to embody the "power, speed, and future" of BSNL's technological advancement. Moreover, BSNL has introduced a doorstep delivery service for its prepaid and postpaid SIM cards, a convenience that aligns with offerings from leading private competitors like Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea. This service enables customers to obtain a new BSNL connection or port their existing number, with the SIM card conveniently delivered to their homes. To start the process, users need to fill out a self-KYC form. For additional support, BSNL has established a toll-free helpline at 1800-180-1503.
