BGMI 4.0 Update: Krafton rolls out Spooky Soiree with new features on Android

The latest update for Battlegrounds Mobile India, dubbed Spooky Soiree, has officially launched as part of the BGMI 4.0 Update APK, which became available on September 11, 2025. Krafton, the game's developer, has initiated the rollout for Android devices, promising a host of new features that gamers can dive into. To get started, players can follow a few simple steps. First, they should open the Google Play Store on their mobile device. Next, searching for 'BGMI' or 'Battlegrounds Mobile India' will lead them to the official app from KRAFTON, Inc. If the game is already installed, users will see an option to update it. Once the installation is complete, players can launch the game and begin downloading in-game resources. Among the exciting additions is a powerful new mortar weapon designed for long-range combat, giving players a significant tactical edge. The update also enhances the game’s realism with improved reload mechanics and pistol animations. Players can now explore a revamped Lipovka town in Erangel, featuring new structures and areas that offer fresh strategic possibilities. One standout character in this update is Ghostie, a companion that lurks in the shadows. Ghostie comes equipped with several skills: as a Floating Balloon, it allows players to soar through the air; the Guardian Shield functions as both a protective barrier and a means to push back foes. The Armourer skill enables Ghostie to repair armor, while the Ghost Helm minimizes head damage during attacks. Additionally, Ghostie can highlight nearby enemies and provide speed boosts while sprinting. Healing capabilities are also included, assisting in team recovery efforts. Furthermore, players defeated in battle can transform into a Prankster Ghost, continuing the fight until energy is depleted. This update also introduces explosive mechanics, such as becoming a high-speed bomb that damages and pushes back nearby opponents upon detonation. Players can tag adversaries, revealing their locations temporarily, or become a shield to absorb incoming damage. With these thrilling updates, BGMI continues to engage its players, providing new experiences and challenges in the ever-evolving battle royale landscape.
