Asus gives the ROX Xbox Ally the OLED screen it deserves

Asus has officially announced the ROG Xbox Ally X20, a new handheld gaming device set to hit the market this holiday season. This model features a vibrant OLED screen, a notable upgrade from its predecessor, the original Xbox Ally. The X20 boasts a 7.4-inch display, slightly larger than the previous 7-inch version, allowing it to compete directly with other gaming handhelds like the Steam Deck OLED and the anticipated Switch 2. The new 1080p HDR panel significantly enhances brightness, increasing from 500 nits to an impressive 1400 nits. Additionally, the inclusion of an anti-glare coating ensures that gamers can enjoy their adventures even under direct sunlight. Equipped with a 120 Hz display, the X20 also supports Dolby Vision HDR, delivering rich colors and improved visuals.
