Asus has launched a groundbreaking initiative known as 'Drop Zone', aimed at transforming how customers access laptop repair services across India. This new customer support feature enables users to conveniently drop off their laptops at designated Asus Exclusive Stores, eliminating the need to visit specialized service centers. The initiative is specifically designed to improve accessibility and convenience, particularly for residents in urban and semi-urban areas. Currently, the Drop Zone service is operational in major cities such as Delhi, Kolkata, Nagpur, Mumbai, and Coimbatore (Tirupur), with plans to extend the service to more regions in the coming months. Asus emphasizes that this initiative will help streamline the repair process and significantly cut down service turnaround times. Customers can leave their in-warranty Asus laptops at participating locations, where an Asus representative will perform an initial evaluation. Afterward, the devices are sent to a service center, and customers receive notifications once repairs are finalized. The repaired laptops are then returned to the same Drop Zone for easy pickup. This service merges retail and repair operations, offering a clearer and more efficient repair experience for users. Asus already boasts a robust service network in India, comprising over 200 service centers. Arnold Su, Vice President of Consumer and Gaming PC at Asus India, commented on the launch, stating, “Our commitment goes beyond just selling products; we aim to provide exceptional after-sales support that empowers every user. With the Drop Zone initiative, we’re enhancing the ease with which customers can maintain their laptops in optimal condition.” In addition to the Drop Zone rollout, Asus India has initiated a service camp in Pune, offering on-site diagnostics and expert assistance to further bolster its customer support efforts. The company also intends to roll out Drop Zones in tier-2 and tier-3 cities soon, expanding its outreach even further.
