iPhone 18 Pro Max price hike is unlikely as Apple may absorb rising memory costs

However, reports from Macrumors indicate that Apple could face "significantly higher memory costs" during the March to June period. Nevertheless, Apple appears to be in a favorable position compared to its Android counterparts, thanks to its substantial scale and purchasing power. By buying components in large volumes, Apple is likely able to negotiate better deals with RAM suppliers, potentially allowing them to absorb rising costs without passing them on to consumers. As for the design, the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro models are expected to feature subtle refinements, including new color options, a more robust yet thicker build, and a smaller dynamic island. The thicker design may also accommodate a larger battery, promising improved battery life over previous iterations.
