The MacBook Pro sports a 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR display, boasting an impressive resolution of 3024×1964 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Users will benefit from extraordinary clarity, with peak brightness reaching 1,600 nits and sustained full-screen brightness at 1,000 nits. At the heart of the device is the new M5 chip, which includes 4 performance cores, 6 efficiency cores, and a 10-core GPU, complemented by a 16-core Neural Engine. This architecture supports configurations of 16GB or 24GB of memory and storage options of 512GB or 1TB. Apple claims that the M5 chip features a Neural Accelerator in each core, resulting in AI performance that is up to 3.5 times faster than the previous M4 and up to 6 times quicker than the M1. Targeted at professionals working with AI-driven tasks, the new MacBook Pro can handle large language models directly on the device. Additionally, it comes equipped with a 12MP Center Stage camera for high-quality video calls and a six-speaker audio system that supports Spatial Audio. The laptop runs on macOS Tahoe, featuring support for Apple Intelligence and a modern Liquid Glass design. Apple promises an impressive battery life of 24 hours, surpassing the 22-hour battery life of the M4 model. Pricing for the 14-inch MacBook Pro starts at ₹1,69,900 for the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant, with prices rising to ₹1,89,900 for the 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD, and ₹2,09,900 for the 24GB RAM and 1TB storage option.
