iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max launched in India: Check price

Apple has officially launched its highly anticipated iPhone 17 series in India, following the grand reveal at the "Awe Dropping" event in Cupertino. The new lineup starts at ₹82,900, with the premium 2TB storage variant reaching up to ₹2,29,900. The standard iPhone 17 is priced at ₹82,900 for the 256GB model and ₹1,02,900 for the 512GB version. In contrast, the iPhone Air kicks off at ₹1,19,900 for the 256GB variant, escalating to ₹1,39,900 for the 512GB model, and ₹1,59,900 for the flagship 1TB option. For those interested in the iPhone 17 Pro, pricing begins at ₹1,34,900 for the 256GB configuration, with costs increasing to ₹1,54,900 for the 512GB and ₹1,74,900 for the 1TB model. The iPhone 17 Pro Max, meanwhile, starts at ₹1,49,900 for the 256GB variant and can reach ₹2,29,900 for the 2TB version. The iPhone 17 boasts a stunning 6.3-inch, 120Hz ProMotion AMOLED display, complemented by Ceramic Shield 2 protection and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. Powered by the A19 processor built on a 3nm process, it features a 6-core CPU alongside a 5-core GPU, including neural accelerators designed for advanced generative AI tasks. In terms of camera capabilities, the iPhone 17 is equipped with dual 48MP sensors—one wide-angle with optical image stabilization (OIS) and another ultra-wide-angle. The front-facing camera features an 18MP sensor with autofocus. The iPhone Air offers a larger 6.5-inch ProMotion 120Hz Super Retina XDR display, also hitting a peak brightness of 3,000 nits and boasting improved outdoor contrast. This model runs on the A19 Pro processor, sharing the same core architecture as the iPhone 17 Pro. With significant enhancements in GPU performance, it supports demanding AAA gaming titles and is optimized for generative AI applications. Notably, the iPhone Air introduces the C1x modem, promising faster connectivity than even the iPhone 16 Pro series. Its photographic capabilities include a single 48MP rear camera with optical-quality 2x Telephoto support, along with an 18MP autofocus selfie camera that allows for landscape shots without rotating the device. In a significant development, the iPhone Air becomes the first iPhone to be offered globally without a physical SIM card, continuing the trend of eSIM-only devices that began with the iPhone 14 in the U.S. Stay tuned for more updates on the features, expected pricing, and launch details for the iPhone 17 Pro, Pro Max, and Air models.
