These premium models will continue to operate with the existing M4 Pro and M4 Max processors for the time being, with expectations for an upgrade not likely until next year. When it comes to specifications, the 14-inch M5 MacBook Pro retains many features from its predecessor, the M4 version. It boasts a stunning notched display measuring 14 inches, complete with ProMotion technology and a resolution of 3024×1964. Users will also find three USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 ports, an HDMI port, an SD card slot, and a 12 MP Center Stage webcam. Weighing in at 3.4 pounds, this model maintains a sleek profile. Apple continues to promise impressive battery performance, estimating up to 16 hours of wireless web browsing and up to 24 hours of video playback. A notable update is the option for a 4TB storage upgrade, available for an additional $1,200 when moving from the base 512GB SSD.
