In a much-anticipated annual event, Apple introduced a range of new devices, including the latest iPhones, Apple Watches, and AirPods. Starting September 19, these innovative products will be available in over 50 countries, including the US, India, the UK, Japan, the EU, and the UAE. Among the highlights were three new smartwatch models: the Apple Watch Ultra 3, Apple Watch SE 3, and Apple Watch Series 11. Each model caters to different user needs with varying display sizes, materials, connectivity options, and health-centric features. The Apple Watch Ultra 3 stands out with the largest display ever on an Apple Watch, utilizing advanced LTPO3 and wide-angle OLED technology. It boasts an impressive battery life of up to 42 hours, extendable to 72 hours in Low Power Mode. This model also supports 5G and two-way satellite communication, enabling messaging, location sharing, and emergency calls in remote areas. Health features on the Ultra 3 include notifications for hypertension, a Sleep Score system, and an AI-driven Workout Buddy that tracks various activities like running, cycling, swimming, and more. It comes in natural and black titanium finishes. The Apple Watch SE 3 is powered by the S10 chip, enhancing processing performance and energy efficiency. It features an Always-On display, fast charging, and 5G connectivity, alongside health and fitness tracking including sleep monitoring and temperature sensing. Gesture controls such as double-tap and wrist flick make interaction seamless without needing to touch the screen. The Apple Watch Series 11 is designed to be slimmer than its predecessors, offering up to 24 hours of battery life and introducing 5G with a newly designed antenna. It shares several health tracking features with the Ultra 3, including ECG and blood oxygen monitoring, and runs on watchOS 26, which includes a revamped user interface with new watch faces and enhanced gesture support. On the smartphone front, Apple unveiled the iPhone 17 lineup, featuring the iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone Air, and the standard iPhone 17, all operating on iOS 26. The Pro models are equipped with the powerful A19 Pro chip and feature a six-core CPU, GPU, and a Neural Engine optimized for AI tasks. The iPhone 17 Pro boasts a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, while the Pro Max offers a larger 6.9-inch display, both with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits for striking outdoor visibility. Both Pro models include enhanced thermal management systems and faster charging capabilities, reaching 50% battery in about 20 minutes with Apple's 40W USB-C adapter. Their camera systems feature three 48-megapixel sensors for versatile photography, with the Pro Max providing up to 8x optical zoom. The iPhone Air is notably thin at 5.6mm and offers a 6.5-inch Super Retina XDR display. It utilizes the A19 Pro chip and includes a 48-megapixel rear camera. Meanwhile, the standard iPhone 17 features a dual 48-megapixel rear camera system, support for 120Hz refresh rates, and starts at 256GB storage. Lastly, the AirPods Pro 3 were showcased with enhancements in audio quality and health monitoring, featuring a new design for better comfort during workouts.
