Apple bring enterprise tools under one roof with new ‘Apple Business’

Apple has officially introduced a new platform named 'Apple Business,' which consolidates its suite of business and enterprise tools into one cohesive solution. This innovative platform aims to assist companies in managing devices, engaging with customers, and handling daily operations through a single, user-friendly interface. A major update for current Apple business users is the inclusion of mobile device management features, which were previously part of a paid subscription. Now, this essential service will be available for free in over 200 countries, significantly enhancing accessibility for businesses. Susan Prescott, Apple's Vice President of Enterprise and Education Marketing, emphasized the importance of this launch, stating, "We’ve unified Apple’s strongest business offerings into one simple, secure platform, delivering key features for organizations in every stage and sector." The platform includes built-in device management, collaboration tools, and innovative methods for reaching new customers. Historically, Apple maintained three separate tools for business: Apple Business Manager for app deployment, Apple Business Essentials for device management, and Apple Business Connect for managing brand visibility across Apple services. With the launch of Apple Business, these tools have been integrated into a single platform, ensuring a smoother experience for users as their existing data will be automatically migrated. The new platform offers comprehensive mobile device management capabilities, enabling organizations to oversee all their Apple devices and settings from one centralized location. Additionally, it features new Blueprints that allow for preconfigured setups, facilitating a zero-touch deployment experience for employees, so new Apple products are ready for use right out of the box. Moreover, customers of Business Essentials will benefit from the removal of monthly service fees after April 14. Apple Business also incorporates email and calendar functionalities, allowing businesses to integrate their custom domain names. The service provides scheduling tools like calendar delegation and a built-in company directory with personalized contact cards, enhancing organizational efficiency. In terms of brand management, Apple Business includes tools for overseeing brand names, logos, and details across Apple Maps, Wallet, and other applications. Businesses can customize place cards with images, operational hours, and location data, as well as add custom actions such as ordering or reserving. Additionally, starting this summer in the US and Canada, Apple will introduce advertising options in Maps, enabling businesses to create ads that appear in search results. The accompanying Apple Business app, along with email, calendar, and directory features, will be compatible with iOS 26, iPadOS 26, or macOS 26, further enhancing its utility across Apple devices.
