AirPods Pro 3 arrive with heart-rate sensing and live translation using Apple Intelligence

At its recent event, Apple introduced the much-anticipated third generation of AirPods Pro, which boasts innovative features like heart-rate tracking and enhanced audio quality. With the last update to the Pro line occurring three years ago, the AirPods Pro 3 marks a significant advancement since the Pro 2 model debuted in 2022. The iPhone will translate one language while the AirPods handle the other, making communication across different languages much easier. In terms of design, the AirPods Pro 3 includes smaller, more comfortable earbuds, with Apple now offering foam ear tips in five different sizes to ensure a better fit. Although this model represents a substantial improvement, speculation abounds regarding a potential high-end version of the AirPods Pro 3. This rumored variant may feature advanced technology, including an infrared camera for gesture detection and an enhanced spatial audio experience, particularly when paired with Apple’s Vision Pro headset. The release of this premium version is anticipated in 2026.
