In an exciting development for sports enthusiasts, the Apple Sports app is set to unveil live tennis scores just in time for Wimbledon, as announced by the tech giant on Wednesday. This addition comes alongside a fresh redesign of the app's home screen, aimed at improving user navigation and engagement. Users will now have the capability to track live scores from Grand Slam and 1000-level tournaments, keeping a close eye on every point scored in both men’s and women’s singles matches. The app also allows fans to monitor players' progress throughout the tournaments, providing updates from the first round all the way to the finals. The updated home screen is designed with user-friendliness in mind, enabling sports fans to easily follow their favorite teams and leagues. Matches and events are organized by league and can be viewed in a custom order preferred by the user. Notably, the teams users actively follow will always be displayed at the top, allowing for quick access to the latest scores and updates. Launched in February 2024, the Apple Sports app previously integrated football scores and Live Activities in August. Currently, it offers extensive coverage across various sports leagues including the Bundesliga, Champions League, and Premier League, among others. The app is available in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, making it a versatile tool for sports fans across these regions.
