Apple is set to launch its fifth retail store in India, located in the bustling DLF Mall of India in Noida. This opening has generated considerable enthusiasm among local consumers, but it comes with a hefty financial commitment. According to details obtained by CRE Matrix and reported by Hindustan Times, the lease arrangements for this new store reveal substantial monthly rental costs and a long-term agreement. The Apple store will occupy 8,240 square feet, spread over six units within the mall, paralleling the sizes of its other prominent locations in Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, and Bengaluru. The rental agreement stipulates a charge of Rs 263.15 per square foot, translating to approximately Rs 45.3 lakh per month and around Rs 5.4 crore annually. Apple has secured the lease for a minimum of 11 years, although the first year will be rent-free. The lease also includes provisions for periodic rent hikes, with an increase of 15% every three years. Finalized in February 2025, the Noida store is set to officially open its doors on December 11, 2025. This expansion signifies Apple's ongoing commitment to enhance its retail footprint in India, further solidifying its presence in one of the world's largest markets.
