Apple will talk iOS 27, macOS 27, and more at WWDC 2026 on June 8

Apple has officially announced the dates for its highly anticipated Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), scheduled for June 8 to 12. This year's event promises a glimpse into groundbreaking updates across Apple platforms, with a significant focus on advancements in artificial intelligence as well as new software and developer tools. The conference will kick off with a special in-person event at Apple Park, which will also be livestreamed on platforms like YouTube and the Apple Developer app. While WWDC has occasionally seen hardware announcements, it predominantly highlights major software updates that will be tested over the summer before their official launch alongside new iPhones and other products in the fall. Although specific details about the upcoming releases remain scarce, attendees can likely look forward to enhancements in iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27. These updates are expected to refine Apple’s Liquid Glass design language, introduce the long-anticipated AI capabilities, and mark the end of support for the last of the Intel-based Macs. Like previous years, much of the developer-focused content will be available online, but the keynote and the technical Platforms State of the Union presentations will take place live on June 8. This day will also provide attendees the chance to engage with Apple engineers and designers, fostering connections within the global developer community. In-person tickets will be distributed through a lottery system for those interested.
