Apple is likely to open a second retail store in Bengaluru East: Report

Apple is poised to enhance its presence in India with plans for a new retail store in Bengaluru, expected to open next year. According to a report by Moneycontrol, this move underscores the tech giant's commitment to tapping into India's rapidly growing consumer base. The potential new store location is suggested through recent job listings on Apple's careers page, which focus on various roles in customer service, specialist positions, and leadership. These postings indicate that the new retail outlet is likely to be situated within the Phoenix Marketcity mall, located in the Whitefield-Mahadevapura IT corridor of Bengaluru East. This announcement follows Apple's recent unveiling of additional stores in Mumbai's Borivali and in the Delhi NCR region, specifically a second outlet in Noida. Moreover, similar job listings have emerged for Hyderabad, hinting that Apple is set to expand its retail operations in key urban areas across India. Speculations suggest that the inaugural store in Hyderabad could open by late 2026, with the second Bengaluru store following shortly in early 2027. During a recent earnings call, Apple CEO Tim Cook expressed his enthusiasm about India, remarking, "I am over the moon excited about this market.
