Apple’s WWDC AI demos looked more real after $250M false ad settlement

However, by March 2025, Apple conceded that delivering these promised features would take longer than anticipated, leading to a federal lawsuit alleging false advertising – a serious concern for a brand that prides itself on reliability. Additionally, Apple is breaking from tradition by not requiring users to purchase the latest iPhone model to access these features. The new Siri will be available through iOS 27 for users of the iPhone 15 Pro, Pro Max, and all models of iPhone 16 and later. This approach means that most users who upgraded in recent years will not need to invest in new hardware to enjoy the benefits.
