Apple launches ‘Shop with a Specialist over Video’ in India for personalised online buying experience

Apple has officially launched its 'Shop with a Specialist over Video' service in India, providing customers with a unique and secure way to shop for Apple products through personalized virtual consultations. This makes India the second market worldwide to feature this innovative service. Through this offering, customers can engage with an Apple Specialist via a one-way video call, allowing them to see the specialist while communicating through audio. This setup enables users to explore Apple's extensive product lineup, including the newly released iPhone 16 series, and receive tailored guidance on trade-in options, financing plans, and product comparisons—all from their own homes. Karen Rasmussen, Apple's head of Retail Online, expressed enthusiasm for expanding Apple's presence in India: "India is a vibrant and dynamic market, and we’re thrilled to deepen our connection with customers here through Shop with a Specialist over Video. Whether someone lives in a metro city or a smaller town, we’re committed to making it easier than ever for them to access the incredible products, services, and support Apple is known for." The service is available from Monday to Friday, between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. IST, accessible via apple.com/in/store, and currently supports English language consultations. Both iOS and non-iOS device users can utilize this feature. The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max take center stage in this shopping experience, boasting the advanced A18 Pro chip, enhanced camera capabilities, a sleek titanium design, thinner borders, and improved battery performance. Customers can interact with a Specialist to gain insights into these features, ensuring they make well-informed purchasing decisions. This addition of video consultations signifies Apple's continued evolution in retail strategy, allowing Indian consumers to choose between in-store visits, online purchases, the Apple Store app, and now, real-time assistance through video. Whether they're looking to buy a device, understand payment options, or compare different products, this service is crafted to streamline the shopping experience for Apple enthusiasts.
