From Mumbai to Noida, how Apple’s retail footprint keeps spreading across India

Apple has bolstered its retail presence in India, unveiling its latest store in Noida on Thursday. Located in the Mall of India, this outlet represents Apple’s second retail location in the Delhi NCR area and its fifth across the nation. This launch is a clear indication of the tech giant's ongoing dedication to enhancing its retail ecosystem in key Indian cities. The opening of Apple Noida is part of the company's rapid expansion strategy in India, which has gained significant momentum over the past two years. Apple aims to provide Indian consumers with direct access to expert advice, the latest devices, and comprehensive services through its growing network of physical stores. The Noida store mirrors the design and functionality of Apple’s global flagship outlets, showcasing a full range of products and specialized support from a team of trained staff. Over 80 employees are available to assist customers with everything from purchases to technical support. The store features the newly launched iPhone 17 series, the complete iPhone 16 lineup, the latest MacBook models, various iPads, Apple Watch collections, and popular accessories like AirTag, AirPods, and HomePod. Visitors can also explore a variety of add-ons, including MagSafe chargers, power adapters, and Apple’s Magic series of keyboards and mice. In line with Apple’s commitment to sustainability, Apple Noida operates on renewable energy and adheres to carbon-neutral standards. Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Retail and People, emphasized that the store is designed not just for shopping but as a space for community engagement, creativity, and learning. This opening follows the launch of other significant retail locations in the country, including Apple Koregaon Park in Pune and Apple Hebbal in Bengaluru earlier this year. Apple Koregaon Park, which debuted in September, is Apple’s fourth store in India, situated in a vibrant cultural and educational area, and aims to provide personalized support and learning sessions through its Today at Apple program. Similarly, the Bengaluru store caters to tech enthusiasts and professionals, offering hands-on experiences and expert assistance. In total, Apple has now established a series of flagship stores in major Indian cities, each contributing to a more accessible experience for customers seeking the latest technology and support. The first official Apple store in India opened in April 2023 in Mumbai, showcasing a unique architectural design that highlights local materials and craftsmanship. With the recent addition of the Noida store, Apple continues to enhance its retail footprint, providing customers with improved access to expert support and innovative technology across India’s largest metropolitan areas.
