Apple to announce $100B further commitment for U.S. manufacturing

Additionally, Apple is set to expand its production of Apple TV+ content across 20 different states, while also collaborating with local suppliers to strengthen its manufacturing ecosystem. This announcement arrives amid pressures from the Trump administration, which has indicated potential tariffs on the tech giant unless it shifts a greater portion of its manufacturing operations from Asia to the U.S. Despite primarily relying on facilities in India, China, and Vietnam, Apple has already faced consequences from tariff implementations, reporting an $800 million hit due to tariffs in the previous quarter.
