Play-Doh World leads August additions to Apple Arcade with Worms, Mightycat, and Shogi

On August 7, Apple Arcade will enhance its diverse gaming library by introducing four exciting new titles, inviting players into vibrant landscapes filled with imaginative experiences. Leading the charge is Play-Doh World from Scary Beasties, which brings the tactile fun of the beloved modeling compound into the digital domain. Players will have the opportunity to create wild zoo animals, pamper quirky salon clients, and traverse a variety of interactive zones, all within a playful, ad-free environment. This game is designed to inspire creativity across all ages, featuring regular content updates and collectible special Play-Doh. Fans of the classic Worms series can look forward to an innovative twist with Worms Across Worlds, developed by StoryToys and Behaviour Interactive. This turn-based strategy adventure challenges players to pursue the eccentric Professor Worminkle across five distinct dimensions. Whether engaging in solo missions or multiplayer skirmishes with up to four teams, the goal remains the same: save the multiverse from impending doom. From PONOS Corporation comes Let’s Go Mightycat!, a whimsical 3D puzzle game that features a heroic feline protagonist. Set in the same universe as The Battle Cats, players can dress their cat in stylish capes, rescue quirky sidekicks from space, and navigate colorful planetary levels. This title cleverly combines puzzle-solving with platforming elements, enhancing the playful atmosphere of the August offerings. Completing this month’s lineup is Everybody Shogi by AltPlus Inc., which reimagines the traditional Japanese board game for a modern audience. With vibrant graphics, daily challenges, and real-time gameplay, it makes the strategic depth of shogi accessible to new players. Users can unlock themed pieces, customize decks, and enjoy seamless play across devices. Apple Arcade is available for ₹99 per month in India, featuring a one-month free trial. Customers who purchase a new iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV will receive three months free. Additionally, the service is included in Apple One plans, priced at ₹195 for Individual and ₹365 for Family, allowing up to six users under a single subscription.
