In a recent report, it has come to light that Apple is intensifying its efforts to develop a series of AI-driven wearable devices. Following previous revelations about a compact AI pendant resembling an AirTag, Bloomberg has confirmed that this device is just one of three AI products currently in the pipeline. The tech giant is also fast-tracking the creation of its highly anticipated smart glasses, known internally as N50. These glasses are set to feature advanced technology, including a high-resolution camera, positioning them as a strong competitor in the growing market of augmented reality devices. As Apple gears up for production, reports suggest that they are aiming to begin manufacturing by December, with a potential public launch slated for 2027. The competition is heating up, especially with other companies like Meta leading the charge in smart glasses innovation, and Snap preparing to introduce its own version later this year. In addition to the smart glasses, Apple is reportedly enhancing its AirPods with new AI functionalities, all designed to seamlessly integrate with the iPhone and leverage Siri, Apple’s virtual assistant, to enrich the user experience. While the smart glasses are expected to be more advanced and luxurious than the other wearables, Apple is determined to capture a significant share of this burgeoning market. TechCrunch has reached out to Apple for further details on these developments.
