Apple iPhone 17 price: From likely cost in India to specs | Details here

Apple is set to unveil its highly anticipated iPhone 17 lineup this September, featuring four distinct models: the standard iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the all-new iPhone 17 Air, which promises to be the slimmest device yet. Recent leaks have showcased images of lens protection covers allegedly designed for the iPhone 17. Each model is rumored to include significant upgrades in design, processing capabilities, display technology, and camera quality. Reports indicate that Apple plans to release the new iPhones between September 8 and 11, adhering to its traditional early-September launch schedule. Pre-orders are expected to kick off in the same week. Historically, Apple has introduced new iPhones during the second week of September for nine out of the past ten years, with 2020 being an outlier due to pandemic-related disruptions. The upcoming iPhone 17 lineup is rumored to be available in six colors: black, grey, silver, light blue, light green, and light purple. In terms of design changes, it appears that the Apple logo on the Pro models has been slightly repositioned on the rear panel. Additionally, the camera module is reportedly undergoing a redesign, featuring three sensors arranged in circular units on the left side of a rectangular camera bar, with the LED flash and LiDAR sensor located to the right. For Indian consumers, the iPhone 17 is expected to start at around ₹79,900 for the base model. However, both the base and Pro variants may see price increases due to trade tariffs enacted during the previous U.S. administration. Heightened production costs stemming from ongoing geopolitical tensions between the U.S. and China could further impact pricing. The iPhone 17 Pro is projected to retail for approximately ₹1,45,000, while the iPhone 17 Air may be priced around ₹90,000 in India. In the U.S., the iPhone 17 Air is anticipated to cost about $899, with a price of AED 3,799 in Dubai. Stay tuned for the latest technology news and updates as the launch date approaches.
