Anthropic has launched new web and mobile interfaces for Claude Code, its highly acclaimed AI coding tool designed for command-line interactions. The web version is robust and ready for developers, while the mobile interface, currently limited to iOS, is still in the initial development phase. The web interface allows developers to connect to GitHub repositories seamlessly. Once linked, users can issue general commands like "add real-time inventory tracking to the dashboard." Claude Code efficiently executes these tasks, providing updates on its progress and actions taken. A notable improvement in this iteration is the ability of Claude Code to accept suggestions or modifications during task execution. Previously, users had to cancel and restart if they noticed any errors or omissions. Now, developers can manage multiple sessions simultaneously, easily switching between them through a panel on the left side of the interface. In addition to these new interfaces, Anthropic has introduced a sandboxing runtime for Claude Code, enhancing both security and user experience. This update shifts the process from requiring permission for most modifications, allowing for a more streamlined workflow.
