Priced at an introductory rate of ₹10,999, the device can be purchased through Amazon, Flipkart, and various Reliance Digital and Croma outlets. Featuring a 5.5-inch screen, the new Echo Show 5 boasts a compact, rounded aesthetic and is equipped with a built-in camera, perfect for home surveillance and video calls. Under the hood, it utilizes Amazon’s advanced AZ2 Neural Edge processor, paired with an improved microphone array that significantly boosts performance. Buyers can choose between two stylish color options: Charcoal and Cloud Blue. According to Amazon, this model is engineered to deliver double the bass and a clearer sound experience compared to its predecessor, marking it as the best-sounding Echo Show 5 to date. The device houses a 1.7-inch rear-facing speaker and supports a range of music streaming services, including Amazon Music, Spotify, Apple Music, JioSaavn, and Audible. The Echo Show 5 (3rd Gen) seamlessly integrates with a variety of compatible smart home devices, empowering users to control lights, fans, air conditioners, geysers, and more through Alexa voice commands or its intuitive on-screen interface. Furthermore, the built-in camera offers real-time video feeds from connected security cameras and doorbells, while the ‘Drop In’ feature allows for remote check-ins and video calls via other Alexa-enabled devices or the Alexa app. In addition to its smart home capabilities, the device provides practical daily assistance, including timers, reminders, calendar updates, and to-do lists.
