
Amazon India has unveiled its plans for the highly anticipated Prime Day 2025, set to take place over an extended three-day period from midnight on July 12 until 11:59 PM on July 14. Marking a first for the country, this year's event will be the longest Prime Day celebration yet, providing ample opportunity for Prime members to explore an array of incredible deals, exclusive launches, and substantial savings. Akshay Sahi, the Director of Prime, Delivery, and Returns for India and Emerging Markets, expressed enthusiasm about the three-day format, stating, "For the first time, we’re extending Prime Day to three full days, giving our members even more time to discover the best of shopping, savings, and entertainment." The upcoming sale is set to feature new product launches from over 400 brands, including renowned names such as Samsung, Harley Davidson, OnePlus, and many others. Additionally, this year will see the introduction of more than 1,600 new products from small and medium-sized enterprises, including popular local brands like Phool and Indigenous Honey. Prime subscribers will have access to exclusive perks, including same-day delivery on a vast selection of products, early access to top launches, and instant savings through collaborations with ICICI Bank and SBI Credit Cards. Moreover, Amazon Pay users can look forward to cashback offers on flight and hotel reservations, alongside discounts on movie tickets and international travels. The lead-up to Prime Day will also bring a wave of entertainment, with Amazon Prime Video releasing 17 new series and films in various languages. Additionally, Amazon Music will introduce a unique multilingual playlist titled “Baelist,” showcasing popular Indian artists. To enhance the shopping experience, customers can utilize Alexa for voice-activated shopping, whether adding items to their cart or tracking orders. The newly launched AI shopping assistant, Rufus, will provide real-time recommendations and comparisons, helping users make informed purchasing decisions more efficiently. Increased offers for Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit cardholders will include a 5% cashback for Prime members, along with further discounts throughout the event and welcome rewards of up to ₹3,000. This exciting event is open to all Prime subscribers, with membership options beginning at ₹399 for the Shopping Edition, ₹799 for Prime Lite, and ₹1,499 for the full-feature Prime membership.
