Amazon is set to transform the way Prime members shop with a groundbreaking feature that allows for a more seamless purchasing experience. The online retail giant has announced an update to its Shopping app and website, enabling Prime subscribers to add items to their upcoming deliveries with just a single tap. This innovative functionality is crafted to mirror the natural shopping habits of consumers who often think of additional needs throughout the week rather than compiling a large order all at once. Traditionally, shoppers would place multiple orders as they remember items they want, but now, Amazon is streamlining this process. To manage the logistics of these frequent orders, Amazon has previously introduced options such as Amazon Day delivery, allowing customers to select a specific day to receive all their recent orders at once. Additionally, the company encourages users to select slower delivery methods for digital rewards. With the new feature, a bright blue button labeled "Add to Delivery" will appear under the product detail section, replacing the standard "Buy Now" one-click checkout option. If a user accidentally taps this button or changes their mind, an "Undo" feature will allow for immediate removal of the item from their order. This new capability is gradually rolling out to eligible U.S. Prime members, making online shopping even more convenient. Currently, a Prime membership is priced at $14.99 monthly or $139 annually in the United States.
