Dell and Alienware have officially announced the debut of the Alienware 16 Aurora in India, catering to gamers who crave both power and portability. This cutting-edge laptop is equipped with the newest Intel Core Series 2 processors alongside NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, offering configurations that include options up to an Intel Core 7 CPU paired with an NVIDIA RTX 5060 GPU. A standout feature of the Aurora is Alienware’s innovative Cryo-Chamber thermal architecture, designed to enhance airflow and sustain optimal performance during intensive gaming sessions or demanding tasks. This launch also marks a significant milestone as it is the first laptop to be introduced in the Aurora range, which has historically been linked to desktops. "The Alienware 16 Aurora reimagines the legendary power of our desktops in a sleek, portable design," stated Raj Kumar Rishi, Vice President and Managing Director of Consumer & Small Business at Dell Technologies India. He emphasized that launching the product during Prime Day showcases the company's confidence in its innovative capabilities and performance. Visually, the laptop boasts a minimalist design featuring an anodised aluminium lid, a magnesium alloy frame, and a striking new Interstellar Indigo color option. Additionally, it offers user-upgradeable DDR5 RAM slots, PCIe Gen 4 SSDs, and supports advanced features like Wi-Fi 7, Dolby Audio, and a 16-inch WQXGA 120Hz display with ComfortView Plus for extended use. Atul Mehta, Senior Director and General Manager of the India Consumer Channel at Dell Technologies, highlighted that the launch reflects the company's ongoing commitment to an omnichannel strategy. He noted, "With Alienware now more sleek and AI-enabled, the Aurora laptops are crafted to make browsing, traveling, and everyday tasks seamless and enjoyable." Pricing for the Alienware 16 Aurora starts at ₹1,29,990. It will be available exclusively during Amazon’s Prime Day sale from July 12 to 14, 2025, before being launched more broadly on July 17 through Dell’s official website, Dell Exclusive Stores, and retail partners such as Croma, Reliance Retail, and Vijay Sales.
