Airtel gives 1-year free Adobe Express Premium worth Rs 4,000 to customers

In an innovative move, Bharti Airtel Ltd. has joined forces with Adobe Inc. to offer its mobile, Wi-Fi, and DTH customers a complimentary one-year subscription to Adobe Express Premium. This initiative marks a significant step by India’s second-largest telecom operator to enhance its service offerings by integrating AI-driven digital solutions with connectivity. Airtel describes this offer as a "global first," providing users access to Adobe Express Premium, typically valued at around Rs 4,000 annually, completely free of charge. Customers can easily activate their subscriptions through the Airtel Thanks app, allowing them to unleash their creativity and produce high-quality content without needing extensive design skills. David Wadhwani, President of Creativity and Productivity Business at Adobe, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, emphasizing its potential to empower millions in India. He stated that this collaboration will not only support the burgeoning creator economy in the country but also simplify the content creation process, whether for career advancement, business growth, or personal projects. This offer follows Airtel’s previous collaboration with Perplexity AI, which faced scrutiny when users were required to enter credit card details to maintain access after six months. Addressing these concerns, Airtel assures that the Adobe Express Premium subscription does not ask for any payment information, ensuring a hassle-free experience for the users. With Adobe Express Premium, Airtel customers will enjoy a wealth of features, including thousands of design templates tailored specifically for Indian contexts like festivals and weddings. The package also boasts advanced AI tools such as instant background removal, custom image generation, and one-tap video editing. Additional benefits include access to over 30,000 professional fonts, 100GB of cloud storage, automatic captions, and cross-device synchronization. The service is available in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil, and Bangla. To activate the Adobe Express Premium subscription, users need to follow a simple process within the Airtel Thanks app: Open the app, tap the menu icon, navigate to “Rewards and OTTs,” select the Adobe Express Premium offer, and then sign in or create an Adobe account to start using the service. The partnership with Adobe highlights Airtel’s ongoing strategy to provide premium digital tools as part of its telecom services, especially as competition among Indian carriers intensifies to attract and retain customers through additional value-added offerings.
