As he prepared to tie the knot with his longtime partner, Lau employed Claude AI to delve into a treasure trove of 12 years' worth of iMessages exchanged between them. He then utilized Claude Design to craft a personalized wedding website adorned with engaging statistics, insightful charts, and cherished inside jokes. After sharing this innovative creation on social media platform X, the post quickly gained traction, amassing over 3 million views. The website resembled a Spotify Wrapped experience for their relationship, showcasing impressive figures such as 161,000 messages, 8,600 shared images, nearly 28,000 emojis, and an astonishing 1,800 texts expressing love. Among the various visual representations of their communication, one chart highlighted the evolution of their texting habits, revealing a notable peak in 2016 during their college years. Another chart illustrated a consistent spike in messaging around 9 p.m. However, what captured the internet's attention was the revelation that the couple's second most frequently used emoji over a span of 12 years was the angry face. In response to the unexpected attention, one user commented, "Best of luck mate," to which Lau humorously replied, "I'm cooked brother."
