Li, a prominent Stanford professor and co-founder of the AI firm World Labs, emphasized the importance of prioritizing passion and alignment with a company's mission over minute decisions. She described her role as often shifting toward mentoring rather than just recruiting, as she guides candidates to consider more significant questions like their enthusiasm for the work and their belief in the team. "It's crucial to focus on the impact you can make and the type of work environment you wish to be a part of," Li advised.
