In a recent survey by Gergely Orosz, a former Uber engineering manager, Claude Code was identified as the most popular AI tool among nearly 1,000 respondents, indicating that it is now as widely used as GitHub Copilot was three years ago. Sathika Hettiarachchi, an IT student and software developer, shared his preference for Claude over alternatives from Google and xAI, describing it as his "go-to" AI model for coding projects.
