Adobe has officially launched its Premiere Pro video editing app for iPhone, bringing a mobile version of its renowned desktop software to users. This new offering aims to empower creators with the ability to perform professional-grade video editing while on the move. The Premiere iPhone app grants free access to essential editing features, such as a multi-track timeline, support for 4K HDR, precise frame-by-frame editing, animated captions, and various speed and motion effects. Additionally, it boasts innovative AI-driven audio capabilities, including Enhance Speech, which improves voice clarity, and generative sound effects. Users can also create distinctive visual elements using Adobe’s generative AI tools, allowing for a range of options from custom stickers to background expansion and image-to-video transitions. Moreover, the app provides access to an extensive library of free resources, including images, fonts, stickers, and royalty-free music tracks. Designed to seamlessly integrate with Adobe's desktop software, the app allows users to initiate projects on their iPhones and later export them to Premiere Pro for more intricate editing. With convenient one-tap export functionality, creators can easily share their work on platforms like TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram, complete with automatic resizing for optimal viewing. Available globally on the App Store, the iPhone version of the app is free to download. However, Adobe offers subscription plans that enhance the experience by providing additional storage and credits for generative AI features. An Android version of the app is also on the horizon, currently under development.
