Acura unveils next RDX crossover—will feature ASIMO OS

Acura has officially introduced its upcoming RDX crossover, showcasing a striking prototype in a vibrant shade known as Propulsion Yellow Pearl during this year's Monterey Car Week. Set to hit the market next year, this next-generation RDX marks a significant shift, as it will be fully electric, departing from its predecessors. Manufactured at the Honda Marysville Auto Plant, which recently underwent a state-of-the-art upgrade, the new RDX is poised to benefit from enhanced energy efficiency and improved working conditions for employees. This factory transformation is pivotal, as it prepares the assembly line for the integration of electric vehicles. Acura has been redefining its identity in recent years, often caught between its luxury branding and its roots as Honda's performance division in North America.
