Acer has launched the TravelLite Essential Series in India, designed specifically for professionals who prioritize mobility, durability, and reliable performance. This new line of laptops is available in two configurations, powered by either the Intel Core i5-1334U or the AMD Ryzen 5 7430U processors, both equipped with Windows 11 Home. Each model boasts a 14-inch Full HD IPS anti-glare display, featuring an impressive 82% screen-to-body ratio and a versatile 180-degree hinge that allows for flexible viewing angles. Weighing in at just 1.34 kg, these laptops are crafted with a robust metal chassis that balances portability with durability. Acer claims that the TravelLite Essential Series can offer up to eight hours of battery life, thanks to its 36Whr 3-cell Li-ion battery, which also supports fast charging. Additional features include an HD webcam with a privacy shutter, dual stereo speakers, and connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. The laptops come equipped with HDMI 1.4, USB Type-A and Type-C ports, RJ45 LAN, a microSD card reader, and a 2-in-1 audio combo jack. According to Sudhir Goel, Chief Business Officer at Acer India, this series targets small to medium-sized businesses and enterprise users who are in search of cost-effective devices without sacrificing build quality. He emphasized that despite the competitive pricing, the series maintains the premium metal construction characteristic of the TravelLite line. The laptops also feature a spill-resistant keyboard, Firmware Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 for enhanced security, and support for up to 1TB PCIe SSD storage and 32GB DDR4 RAM. Integrated graphics make these devices suitable for business applications and daily productivity tasks. Available in a sleek Obsidian Black finish, the TravelLite Essential Series will be sold through Acer’s exclusive stores, authorized resellers, and the company’s online platform, with prices starting at ₹32,999.
