He-Man gets an origin story inMasters of the Universetrailer

A fresh trailer has been released for the highly anticipated film adaptation of Masters of the Universe, reviving the iconic He-Man franchise from the 1980s. Since acquiring the rights in 2009, Sony Pictures has navigated through a series of script revisions and director changes, with notable names like John Chu, McG, and David S. Goyer considered for the role. In 2022, Netflix took over the project after experiencing success with animated series featuring Kyle Allen in the role of He-Man. However, the streaming giant ultimately scrapped the film the following year due to budgetary constraints, leaving Allen without the chance to star on the big screen.
